Apparently U.S. presidential candidate Ron Paul has his own fan base among Catholics. It's interesting to see how they "nuance" his position on gay marriage.
Anyway may be an interesting site to visit as you research your Hobson's Choice for president in 2008.

I thought it was *Ru Paul* who was the presidential candidate, not "Ron Paul" - can you double check your facts?
FYI, if your only problem with a Presidential candidate is his stance on legalizing gay marriage, I offer that he's as close to perfect as you are going to get. The gay marriage debate in this country is outside the bounds of law and morality. See my blog post from last November for my thoughts on the subject, which, of course, I believe all who call themselves Christians should support.
How is it the federal government's who someone decides to marry? The Government's job is to protect rights, not legislate morality. I don't own another person therefore I can't tell him what he can or can't do. The government doesn't own people either. Also, the constitution does not give the federal government the authority to regulate marriage anyway. So, regardless of what our opinions on the issue are, the constitution forbids the government from legislating it.
Sorry. I can't type. I meant to say in the first sentence:
"How is it the federal government's BUSINESS who someone decides to marry?"
