CN8 TV broadcasted this morning the story of Kim Hassinger, who was in the same situation as Terri Schiavo and came out of it. She was diagnosed with persistent vegetative state (PVS) but through much therapy was able to recover from it.
This is a tremendously encouraging story of how we should not give up home for Terri or those in her situation. The woman actually spoke with the reporter on the air. Her words are slurred but she's as conscious as any one of us.
