I learned today that Anna Quindlen will no longer be writing her anti-Catholic, left-leaning baby-boomer "Last Word" column in Newsweek. Hooray, hooray, and I say it again, hooray!
That being said, :-( she trades off this column with a conservative writer, George Will. (Well, usually he's conservative.) This means they will pick another liberal writer to take her place. So we're not off the hook yet. It could be out of the frying pan, into the fire. We'll just have to see.
