I had a remarkable experience today. You know how sometimes Christian charities give you the opportunity to write prayer intentions on donation response forms? I figured they just took the forms after processing and piled them up in bulk on the altar during Mass or a prayer meeting or something, and then burn them or otherwise dispose of them. Which would be fine, God still hears the prayers. But imagine my surprise when one such organization (Food For The Poor) actually had a member of their prayer group call me up and read my prayer intentions back to me and say they were praying for them!
